Linda Linda LindaLinda Blair was five years old at the time she became the youngest child actor to play The Exorcist. She had been a model for 3 years, and was then cast in the role of the child who was possessed Regan. Linda Blair rose quickly to notoriety and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe. She was scheduled to be awarded the Academy Award. But when it was revealed that certain part of her roles were recorded and that a stunt-dummy played eight seconds, that dream went down the drain. Over the next few years, Linda was able to land lead parts in a variety of movies. The most notable of these were the television series Born Innocent and Sarah T. Sarah T. Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic and Exorcist II - The Heretic. But when she was pushed by her peers into buying cocaine when she was just of 18 it triggered the arrest of her and the subsequent sentence to three years of probation. The highly publicized drug bust resulted in Linda to be banned from Hollywood which slowed her progress. Her profession was later reduced to B-movies and occasional television guest appearances only
